A trip to Dagupan City, Philippine on 10-12/11/2009 to hangover a class room to Salisay Elementary School.

After a visit by RTN Andrew Chung to the rotary club of Dagupan. We finally made a connection to join project to build a class room for an elementary school. The Rotarians of Dagupan, President Albert and PP Dr. Edwind were making effort to come all the way from Dagunpan City about 2 hours away to pick us (President Frankie Fu, George Lim and Alfred Sii ) from the Clark airport.
We had dinner at Dagunpan riverside restaurant entertained by the music band and had a sumptuous local delicacies.

Day 2 began by having fellowship with rest of the members and other rotarian from Manila. After that we proceeded for tree planting project at the river bank. 3600 seedlings had been planted. Later we proceed to the handover of the class room at Salisay Elementary School. The ceremony was graced by the Mayor of Dagupan City who happen to be a very active rotarian too. During the ceremony we were entertained by the student in dance performances.

In the evening we attended their rotary club night meeting began with a sumptuous dinner of "Bangus" national fish call "Milk Fish " donated by the rotarian and crab with so much egg. The meeting begin with te welcoming song by the Rotarian and speech by the District Governor on good fellowship. Later we exhang banner and gifts.

Day 3 We went to the market to test more local delicacies like the "Lacum" the roasted pork, the fried beef and the local cakes. We bought the milk fish also. Later in the morning we met up with President Albert and PP Edwind for some discussion on the possibility of next trip. Both of them sent us back to clark. The trip did not end til we had a sumptuous lunch of soup tulang and delicious milk fish.
Inclusion we were treated very well and I must say it was a good start for a friendship club like Rotary club of Dagupan.
